Code 0093F9 - SGM module

Hi, Just wondering if anyone has bought a second hand SGM module, after having restraint system issues with code 0093F9 (ZK18/headrest driver / voltage energy reserve U60 N.I.O). Have tried all the recommendations from different forums, and had the car code read at independent BMW specialist with the recommendation of new SGM module (£800) so wondering if i can use second hand SGM module but not sure how to 'code' it to car? Any suggestions greatly received.

  • My car starts to have a miss that gets worse and worse after about a 10 mile warm up. Replaced all the plugs as of now and still the same problem. Any ideas anyone? No codes!
  • The driver's side daytime running light or the angel ring daylight burned and the socket where the light bulb goes is burned. The retaining ring that goes towards the front of the light next to the headlight bulb came off and is loose as well as the assembly. How do I replace the assemble for the daytime running light? I have adaptive and Xenon light. The simple bulb replacement got complicated and I do not want to replace the entire headlight assembly. Only the the daytime running light assembly needs to be replaced but do not know how to. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Roberto
  • I bought a BMW e60 and the previous owner changed the ECU. Presently the idrive screen is showing HEAD UNIT NOT CODED CORRECTLY. I couldn't check the service status, brake status etc.
