Hey I tried using the old hammer and chisel method to remove the lock ring under the back seat on top of the fuel tank, which in turn knocked the float off the level sender somehow. So I caved and bought the tool that removes the ring and when I finally got the tool and changed the fuel filter I accidentally had broken the white box thing that attaches to it (I believe it's the suction jet) So here I am now with only half a tank of gas actually working (if I make a hard left the gas goes into the right side and the fuel starvation stops) So in order to fix the suction jet I was under the impression that I had to replace the whole pump, because it's attached to the hoses that come off of it. After doing so, I now have a KOMBI fault for the fuel sending unit on the pump side and I'm still having the gas wanting to stay in the left side of the tank... Idk what to do, I really don't want to take it into a shop for them to tell me I need to replace it all again....
