Hi all, I was driving down the road the other day and the car died at a stop light. I tried to restart, car cranks over but would not start. My first thought is that the fuel pump died, but when going through Nathan's Youtube channel I saw a video that suggested a fuse in the ECU box may have blown. I checked the fuses today and all the fuses were fine (30amp & 20amp) but I replaced them anyway. I tried restarting the car but got the same result, crank but no start. Electrical in car seems to work just fine, lights, radio, obdii, etc.
FYI, ECU reads clear, no errors.
Anybody got any other ideas before I start ordering fuel pumps?
Yes, I think you may be right. I just need to check for fuel pressure and that will confirm that. Was hoping maybe it would be something else.
I would say fuel pump
